The details

Some people never use the word. They sit with you in the hard room, make the call nobody else wants to make, and smile so you won't see what it costs them.

This print comes from a story about Chris Hunt's mom, and the night she chose the harder option to keep her son alive, then smiled and told him to hold on a little longer. It closes on the line he couldn't shake: “Some people just are the thing.”

Hang it for the person who taught you what brave looks like. Or send it to them.
