Holt
Holt is a private personal AI assistant developed and operated by Chris Hunt for Code of the West. It helps its owner research, organize projects, save work, and follow through on explicitly requested responsibilities. It is not currently offered as a public sign-up service.
Google connections
When the owner connects Gmail, Holt can search and read messages to answer questions, summarize relevant information, and watch for important arrivals under an authorized monitoring request. A separately connected Google Calendar lets Holt read events and availability. These Google connectors are read-only: they do not send email, delete messages, or change calendar events.
Connection takes place on Google's sign-in and permission screens. Holt does not ask for a Google password in chat. Access can be revoked through the Google Account's third-party connections settings.
Owner control
Holt runs on owner-controlled equipment with an authenticated phone companion. The owner chooses the model provider. When a hosted model is selected, relevant task context and connected-source content are sent to that provider to produce the requested result. This is not a promise that all processing remains on the local device.
Background monitoring requires a specific instruction and can be stopped. Notifications announce that an update is ready; the details are available inside Holt. AI-generated results can contain mistakes and should be reviewed before acting on them.
